Why Zumba?

I love dance and rave music, especially when cleaning the house. My apologies to my neighbours. But more than that I loved loved loved dancing and throwing shapes like there was no tomorrow. When not cleaning, I danced for fitness through Zumba and Bokwa classes. The energy and feel good factor that came with these classes was amazing.

Since I got MS though I am so self conscious. I can't dance like I use to especially when the right leg decides to be super heavy and not move. I'd be afraid to try a Zumba or Bowka class now as I wouldn't have the coordination. BUT WHY should MS stop me from dancing my little socks off and stop me from exercising to upbeat songs and grooving my way to a healthier body. So I became a qualified Zumba instructor!!! And now I teach Zumba for myself and my body and for any other body that would like a class that isn't perfect. Sometimes the moves go a little sideways (literally), sometimes the legs don't lift high enough, sometimes the arms and legs move like an alien is controlling the body but who cares, it's fun, it's a workout and it's not taken too seriously and there's definitely no judgement.

Come and join me if this sounds like a class for you 😁💜x

I also do a Move & Groove Yoga class. So if the Salsa, Merengue and other latin vibes aren't for you, you can practice yoga to classic dance songs from the 60's, 70's. 80's and beyond. Check the schedule to see when the next one is. 🎉🎵💃🕺🪩🎵🎉
